Cowboys and Horror... sounds good to me!!!!

"The Burrowers" doesn't really have much of a plot. Nothing much really happens. That doesn't sound very flattering, I know. But hear me out. Not only does it have a great cast, and some nice eye candy for the ladies ( or gents if you swing that way), it really does keep you entertained. The creatures are not disappointing at all. They de ( liver) a great punch to the film. But what was really entertaining was the relationships. The Native Americans and The cowboy/ armies , shoot first ask later attitude condemns them to a constant state of confusion. Realistic, because sometimes we are so afraid to ask for help, we instead attack. It made the film more realistic, and helped keep the film in motion. Overall I will be adding this film to my massive horror movie collection, and will not be camping anytime soon!

Sisters?!

O.K. I usually get the point of films. And while I guessed one of the secrets to this film, I am still confused about the other. While I still enjoyed the film, "Sisters", I mean it gave me no choice with such a great cast of characters. Yet all I could really say after I watched it was, hmmm?!

Drag me to Hell!

Sam is back! And with his usual flair I may add, with "Drag me to Hell"! I really enjoyed this movie. Despite the whole animal slaughter scene, which I hate! But surprisingly that scene was quite funny, but I still hate it. Although the film was quite predictable, I truly liked seeing a "Horror" movie, which I haven't seen in quite a while. Lately its been slasher or splatter, not that I am complaining. I love it all! But the fact is it brought me back to the days when I was watching "Evil Dead" and laughing and crying, all at the same time. Pure in simple its a great movie that brings you to a nostalgic place. A place where we first fell in love with horror. I'm glad he's back! And I am ready to pop in " Evil Dead" again.
